Jordan Clark’s goal was his fourth of the season – and first since January

Luton beat Coventry 6-5 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Wembley to return to the top flight of English football for the first time since 1992.

Fankaty Dabo blazed over after the shootout went into sudden death as the Hatters secured promotion.

They lost Tom Lockyer early in the game after he collapsed on the pitch but Jordan Clark fired them in front.

Brazilian Gustavo Hamer equalised after the break but neither side could muster a winner in extra time.
