A friend of Ruth Perry, who took her own life after Ofsted downgraded her school, says the head teacher was “under enormous stress before she died”.
Ofsted rules restricted Ms Perry from sharing the school’s new “inadequate” rating with colleagues.
Lisa Telling, a head teacher in Reading, told BBC Breakfast that Ms Perry had to bear the “world-destroying” verdict by herself for 54 days.
