Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has said that LGBT football fans who attend the World Cup in Qatar should show “a little bit of flex and compromise”.
Speaking on LBC’s Nick Ferrari at Breakfast show, Mr Cleverly also said that people should be “respectful of the host nation”. Labour called the comments “shockingly tone-deaf”.
