In her first broadcast interview, a former X Factor contestant has revealed that she was raped which led to her leaving the competition.<\/p>\n

Lucy Spraggan, who was a favourite to win X Factor in 2012, has written a book about her experience and told BBC News her time on the show was \u201clike an abusive relationship\u201d. <\/p>\n

She told BBC correspondent Chi Chi Izundu she is calling for industry change to better protect people taking part in reality TV.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
