Duwayne Brooks, who witnessed his friend Stephen Lawrence’s murder in 1993, has told the BBC a recently-named sixth suspect could have been picked out from a police line-up at the time.<\/p>\n

Matthew White, who died in 2021, was named by police as a suspect in the racist killing of Stephen in Eltham 30 years ago following a BBC investigation. <\/p>\n

Mr Brooks was waiting for a bus with Stephen at the time he was attacked.<\/p>\n
