Yvette Cooper has explained her party’s plan to reverse cuts in police numbers with a “neighbourhood policing guarantee”.<\/p>\n

The shadow home secretary suggested cuts in neighbourhood policing had contributed to a rise in anti-social behaviour and knife crime.<\/p>\n

She said Labour would recruit 13,000 more neighbourhood police and police community support officers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
