France has seen further protests in response to the government’s planned rise in retirement age. <\/p>\n

Eight unions are supporting the strike, which has disrupted schools, public transport and oil refineries.<\/p>\n

A reported 11,000 police were deployed to cover the demonstrations taking place in some 200 towns and cities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
